He plays alone. And the whole world leans in to listen.
Krishna stands in the forest — blue skin traced with lotus scrollwork like living poetry, golden pitambara glowing against the dark leaves, a peacock stilling at his feet. He is not performing. He is simply being. And in that being — everything becomes music.
This painting was born in September 2024, in a new city, in a new life. The first chapter of independence — no familiar streets, no family down the corridor, just the quiet discovery that solitude, when embraced, becomes its own kind of song.
Priyo. Beloved. Because that is what we find when we finally learn to be alone — ourselves. And perhaps, in that stillness, something divine.
