She arrived on the first day. Not fully formed — just a sketch, a whisper, an instinct on paper. It was 2013, the first day of art college, and something inside already knew what needed to be said. It took three more years for her to find her colours.
A mother face — serene, all-seeing, neither goddess nor mortal but something in between — watches over a baby resting in the heart of a blooming lotus. Around them, a thousand hands reach from the darkness. Not threatening. Protecting. Because that is what a mother's love does — it multiplies itself into infinity, surrounding new life from every direction at once.
The pink lotuses glow against darkness because that is the nature of love — it is always brightest where the world is most uncertain.
