In "Nocturnal Primate in Branches," I focused on capturing a detailed, monochromatic image of a small primate nestled in its natural environment. I wanted to highlight the textures—the softness of its fur and the roughness of the tree branches—while drawing attention to its delicate limbs and striking eyes. By placing the primate against a deep black background, I aimed to create a quiet, attentive moment that draws viewers into its nocturnal world. Using film photography on rice paper, I sought to blend a serene atmosphere with a vintage, retro aesthetic, inviting a close and thoughtful observation.
