I was drawn to this sunlit hut because of the way light and shadow play across the scene, highlighting both the structure and the old cart standing beside it. There’s a quiet mystery in the contrast—the warmth of the sunlight against the cool, dark shadows—and it made me want to capture that moment. The hut and cart feel abandoned yet full of stories, and through my painting, I tried to explore the subtle tension between presence and absence in this simple, yet compelling setting.
