This landscape drew me in because of its striking contrasts. I wanted to highlight the way the water cascades over the rugged rocks, so I used acrylic paints combined with textured white paste to build up the rocky surfaces. Working with both knife and brush allowed me to explore different textures throughout the piece, giving the scene a tactile, dynamic feel. Through these techniques, I aimed to capture not just the look but the physical presence of the landscape.
