My work is an exploration of texture and the transformation of the mundane. By taking a functional glass form and obscuring its transparency with heavy, tactile layers, I aim to shift the viewer's focus from the object's utility to its emotional presence.
I am drawn to the "controlled chaos" of mixed media. Using a palette of deep reds, soot-like blacks, and stark whites, I apply paint through stippling and layering to create a surface that feels weathered by time. Each piece is a balance between destruction and creation—stripping away the smooth surface of the glass to reveal a raw, rustic, and deeply organic aesthetic
