I am Daniel Gonsalves, an emerging visual artist from Mumbai, India, currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts at Sir J. J. School of Art. My artistic journey began in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, and since then, art has become an important part of my life. My work is deeply inspired by India's rich spiritual and cultural heritage, particularly Hindu deities and devotional themes. My art style focuses on detailed pencil and graphite drawings, using techniques such as hatching, cross-hatching, scribbling, and blending to create depth, texture, and expression. I also enjoy experimenting with abstract art and digital mediums, constantly exploring new ways to express spirituality, emotion, and cultural identity through my work.
