I created this piece as a window between worldsβone that invites you to pause, step closer, and look beyond the obvious. The open shutters are not just architectural elements; they represent a moment of transition, where the inside meets the outside, and reality blends with imagination.
At the center, I placed an unexpected formβfluid, almost surrealβflowing from within the room toward the viewer. It challenges the idea of structure and control, suggesting that not everything we see can be explained or contained. The bold contrast of warm reds and earthy browns with softer pastels was intentional, designed to draw your eye inward and then outward again, just like the journey of thought itself.
For me, this painting is about perspectiveβhow what we see depends on where we stand. Itβs a conversation between stillness and movement, familiarity and mystery. When you bring this artwork into your space, youβre not just adding color to a wallβyouβre inviting curiosity, depth, and a story that changes every time you look at it.
