I made this work to express how time silently witnesses everything. The mammoth stands as a powerful, timeless being carrying fragments of human existence on its tusks. I was drawn to the contrast between strength and memory—how something so massive can hold delicate, meaningful stories within it.
This piece was both technically and mentally challenging , and it took me nearly a year to complete. Working in hyperrealism required a lot of patience and control, especially in developing textures like the skin, tusks, and depth of form. I spent long periods refining small details, often reworking areas to get them closer to what I had in mind. There were phases where progress felt slow, but that process helped me improve my observation and discipline. Over time, the drawing became not just about the subject, but about pushing my own limits and staying consistent with the work.
