Mangai series

I have been working on my style since 1993 where I joined my college in 1992. I got inspired by Sittanavasal mural paintings and started practising them. This peice of work shows the beauty of a woman in my perspective her eyes, ornaments,dress and designs. My way of colouring the painting is like fresco method...use of colours by multiple layers to get the effects and textures.the colours used are more vibrant.
