In this photograph, I explore the visual intensity of ritual by focusing on water, stone, and human presence. I was drawn to the contrast between the enduring form of the Shiva lingam and the fluid movement of water during the abhishekam. The scattered droplets, dramatic shadows, and the intimate presence of the devotee come together to create a moment that feels both immediate and timeless. Through this image, I aim to capture the profound energy and quiet devotion inherent in this ritual.
