Artist Statement
"My art is not a mere imitation of the visible world, but a profound spiritual endeavor to manifest the invisible, infinite energy inherent in nature. Instead of depicting tangible, physical landscapes, I embrace pure abstraction, allowing the flow of wind, the internal vibrations of flora, and cosmic silence to speak through the language of color, form, and texture. For me, the canvas is not a passive surface but a living threshold where the material and spiritual worlds meet.
The roots of this artistic journey lie deep within the sacred memories of the time I spent amidst the dense forests, pristine wilderness, and tribal regions of India. Observing the seamless co-existence of tribal communities with nature and absorbing their primal spirituality profoundly reshaped my subconscious. These lived experiences are not mere nostalgic recollections; they are the guiding force of my creative process. For me, layering colors on canvas is akin to resurrecting the layers of memory, time, and ancestral wisdom.
I perceive colors not merely as pigments, but as conductors of raw emotion and cosmic energy. I often find myself drawn to the infinite depth of deep, calm, and cool blues to evoke a sense of boundless space and inner tranquility. Conversely, I employ pulsating, earth-toned strokes and intentional, dynamic textures to capture the primal, raw energy of the forest. My practice is a continuous exploration of how to translate the intangible spirit of nature into a visual language that transcends the chaos of the material world. My paintings ultimately serve as a sanctuary for visual meditation, encouraging viewers to connect with the ancient, primal vibrations and deep inner peace of nature."
