Carlos Enrique Gozalo Ara (Madrid, 1964) is a professional painter and Advanced Technician in Plastic Arts with a career spanning since 1987. Exhibiting in Madrid, Barcelona, and Marseille, his work has earned international recognition, including prestigious awards in France and illustration prizes. Transitioning from traditional painting to photographic and digital media, Gozalo explores the tension between memory, the sacred, and technology. Through layering textures and patterns, he creates visual palimpsests where figures decompose and reconfigure.
