Mouboni Dutta (b. 1998, Kolkata, India) is a self-taught artist based in Mumbai, where she works from her living-room-turned-studio alongside a full-time corporate career. Working across acrylic, oil, and gouache, her practice explores contemporary intimate realism, examining how ordinary objects hold traces of memory, intimacy, and absence. Through loose brushwork, fragmented compositions, and expressive colour, she blurs the boundaries between lived experience and its recollection. With an academic background in Political Science and Human Resources Management & Labour Relations, Mouboni balances the structured rhythms of corporate life with an evolving artistic practice rooted in the poetry of the everyday.
